お邪魔猫-the cat that wants attention
ブログ更新をしているとかなりの確率で邪魔しにくるふくちゃん。
When updating my blog, Fuku usually comes to
join, wanting attention.
まずは、そ～っとお手手が出てくる。
First the claw come out from behind very slowly.
そして、パソコンの後ろからちらり。
Then she peeks from behind the PC.
次にびっくり箱の蓋を開けた時のようにびょ～んと登場！
Next she springs up from behind like a jack-in-the-box.
最後に落ちつたら横でまったり。いつも結構ワンパターン。
Finally, she settles next to the PC. It's always the same routine.
全然ブログが進まないよ。 You're pulling my leg Fuku!
---その頃まろは---
ふくまろの膝の上で寝ています。
Meanwhile, Maro is sleeping on my lap.
お・・・重い。
You're getting quite heavy Maro.

ふくに注意されるまろ-Fuku warns Maro
まろは本や雑誌の角をかじかじする癖があり、すぐふくまろに怒られる。
そんなまろをいつも見ているせいか、ふくが注意を・・・
Maro has a habit of chewing the edge of books and magazines.
I always get angry with Maro but this time, before I had the
chance to do so, Fuku warned Maro.
でも足で注意するのはちょっとね・・・ふくちゃん。
Fuku, it's nice of you to "step in" but you should
warn Maro in a nicer manner.

カウンターから注文するふく。Fuku orders beer from the counter.

そんなまろをいつも見ているせいか、ふくが注意を・・・
Maro has a habit of chewing the edge of books and magazines.

ワクチン-Vaccine day
今日はまろちゃんの年に一度のワクチンの日。まろは少し変わっていて
病院と先生が大好き！今日もるんるんで注射にも気付かずあっという間に
終わりました。帰ったら少し疲れてふくとぐっすり。
Today was Maro's annual vaccine day. She's quite different
from her kind and love the hospital and love the doctor.
She didn't even realize she was being vaccinated... :)
She was a bit tired after coming home and slept deeply with Fuku
by her side.
病院までは歩いていけます。 The hospital is walking distance.
さすがにワクチンの後はぐったり。
Maro is tired after being vaccinated.
ゆっくり休みなさい。
Rest well Maro.

しかし、私もわんかにゃんになりたいな・・・
I really wish I were a dog or a cat.

またエムノーさん宅にお邪魔しました！今回は新年豚しゃぶパーティー！
I went to Mno-san's house again...
this time for a new year's pork shabu-shabu party!
美味しいお料理と楽しい仲間に囲まれ幸せいっぱいの一日でした。
I was surrounded by great friends and delicious food!

やっと一緒に寝てくれました！
今回は2にゃん、1わんが一緒にお寝んね。

Sorry Fuku, this is not for you.
その後このみかんはボールのように遊ばれ・・・地面に。
ふくまろにこらぁ～！駄目ですよ～と優しく叱られました。
Fuku kicked this tangerine like a soccer ball and needless to say,
she wasyelled nicely told not to play with food.

今回はさらに難しかった！！！倒れないようにするので精一杯。
家では再現できませんでした。結局花瓶に・・・
This time, the flower arrangment lesson was a difficult one.
I barely could keep it standing and it was impossible to
recreate the same shape. This is when a vase comes in handy.
ふくちゃんが倒すから、今回も即効お手洗い行きとなりました。
Since Fuku plays with the flowers, I had to move it
right away to the bathroom where she can't come in...

優しいからふくちゃんに譲ってあげたものの、床は寝心地が悪い。
Maro's nice to her baby sister and lets her have the bed but
the floor is uncomfortable.

While Fuku went to go eat her supper, Maro finally found peace.
最近新年会やらで忙しくしていて、なかなかお返しや訪問ができずにすみませんでした。

As Fuku was the center of attention previously, this time it's Maro's turn.
大好きな歯磨きおもちゃで遊んでいるまろ。
Maro's playing with her favorite gum toy.
別に取らないし、グジョグジョになっているのなんていらないで～。
Maro, you're worried I might take it but who wants a toy
that's all wet with your saliva..
Fidoさんのデンタルケアボーン。これ長いことあげているとぼろぼろになるので要注意！
これを噛んでいる時のまろの集中力はすごい！
Maro's biting Fido's dental care bone. You have to becareful to take it
away from her after a while or she starts eating the edges.
Her level of concentration is amazing when she's chewing on this!!!

ちょっとカジカジしてみたいようです。

引っ張り過ぎて抜けてしまうことが多々あるので、これぐらいにしておこうね。

wear in the house. It's really hard to put back the string

妹からもらったスナフキンのカップカバーをふくがまた厳しくチェック！
Fuku's conducting her usual strict inspection of a lid of Snufkin
sent from sis.
これ保温効果もあるし、猫の毛防止効果もあり、すごく良い！ありがとう～♪
This lid retains heat while keeping cat hair out of drinks!
Very convinient! Thanks sis!! :)

Maro and Fuku were quiet in the car and wild in Kyoto!
さすがに帰ってからはぐっすり。楽しい年の始まりとなりましたね。
Both were very tired after a long drive home but both
